Diagnosed with cancer? Chances are about 50/50 it’ll kill you. John Grinde was one of the lucky ones; he’s still alive, and romance is the reason why. “Cancer a Romance” is in part a medical story of diagnosis, treatment, recurrence and recovery. It’s also a love story, about illness bringing two people together.
Cancer. Romance. Two subjects not usually found in the same book. Here’s what one reader thought about the result “Thank goodness I had your book on a three hour flight because it allowed me to read it in one sitting. I'm sure my seat mate was wondering what I was reading because I was laughing out loud all the time and crying like a baby at the end.”
Another reader – a cancer survivor – said “The book was hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. My wife doesn't quite understand why I get odd the month before and the weeks following my yearly MRIs. You really describe well the fear and feelings of uncertainty accompanied by the periodic exam.”
Cancer is a killer. But the lucky ones get through it somehow. Read ‘Cancer a Romance’ to learn how one person - no, two people – did it.
