This was a gem of a story, to see the awkwardness between Maddy and Josh, and them finally realizing what they were missing. A local case of neighbor’s of hers growing up, were murdered. Escalades into more than they realized. Bringing in the FBI for it seemed somehow connected to other cases. Giving Becca a chance to go with the FBI to help. It was fast moving plot,that kept getting bigger and bigger. Would Maddy be able to handle the news about her neighbors and how her mother knew some of it. Well done, and on to the next book.Product details

Another winner in the Madison Hart Mystery series. The twists and turns continue through to the end. It's well researched and flows smoothly so you are able to get into the story and travel through it with the characters. Enjoyed the read and being back with Madison as her silent sidekick! A thrilling mystery with Madison, Josh, Beca and great new characters.
FBI Criminal Investigator, Madison Hart is back in action as she investigates the murder of a couple that is much too close to home. The couple have been friends of her family for years and finding the killer is personal to Madison. But as she investigates and her relationship with Detective Josh Logan possible on the line, she discovers that the secrets lurking behind the past may alter any chance she has of a happy future.
It is a pleasure to read a story that actually keeps the reader intrigued from beginning to end. This author does an excellent job of establishing her characters, while making us understand their motivations and actions. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, as well as the entire series.
I received an arc copy and read it in 2 days. This was a great read. Loved seeing the characters grow and this book had me guessing at every turn. This author has a way of keeping the readers attention.
Loved seeing Madison and Josh grow. Becca came strong towards the end and I freaking loved her for it.
There’s a lot going on in this book and I never lost interest. I did have a suspect in mind and the bad guy wasn’t who I thought it was. Go figure.
The ending....what an ending. Loved it!
First of her mysteries that I had read and it moved quickly and kept me interested all the way.
Oh yes...I will be back for more Madison Hart mysteries! This was my first one, but I'm positively hooked. The characters are believable and the read engaging. I grew up in Winter Park, Florida, so the references bring back good memories.
Liked every part. Love this Author and Series of Novels.
Wow.... Just when I thought this series couldn't get any better!! I was given the opportunity to beta read this and I have to say I cannot wait to be able to purchase it for my kindle!! Another great mystery by my favorite crime fighting couple, LOVE IT!!!
